Mobile Fire-Rescue Called to Structure Fire on St. Stephens Road

MOBILE, AL. Mobile firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire Tuesday afternoon at a building next door to the Rodgers BBQ located at 2350 St. Stephens Road.
The building is on the same lot as the restaurant and owned by the same people, according to the Mobile Fire-Rescue.
The Mobile police reported that the restaurant was evacuated for everyone’s safety, but no one was reported to be injured.
However, the restaurant did sustain some damage.
Mobile firefighters quickly put the fire out, but the building sustained a substantial amount of damage, and the owner’s said that it was a total loss.
The cause of the fire has been undetermined at this time.
