Mobile Fire Department Called to Fire at Pallet Business

MOBILE, AL. A Friday morning fire at a Mobile pallet business spread fast and caused quite a bit of damage, but firefighters were able to get the fire under control before it got away from them.
According to Mobile Fire-Rescue, crews were called to Gulley Pallet Company off Conception Street Road in Mobile at around 5 a.m. Friday.
When they arrived, heavy flames were visible and were spreading in part because the building was full of wood pallets that fed the fire.
Mobile Fire Rescue believes that the fire started from an exhaust fan.
Fire authorities said no one was injured in the fire, and the business suffered minor damage to the building.
