Mobile County Sheriff Investigating How 4-Yr. Old Got Alcohol Poisoning

MOBILE Ala. A four-year-old child who came home from school intoxicated had a blood alcohol content level near .300 according to law enforcement.
The child’s parents, Albert Singleton said that when he and his wife, Mary Singleton, arrived to pick their daughter up from school on April 28 she was carried out to them.
The school told the parents the child had been slipping into unconsciousness and the parents rushed their child to an area hospital and from there, the child was taken to the ICU at Children’s and Women’s Hospital in Mobile.
The parents have received no answers from the school about what happened and now the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the alleged abuse of 4 year old child who attends a local public school.
The Mobile County District Attorney’s Office has asked the sheriff’s office to conduct a full investigation and to determine if there was any unlawful wrongdoing.
At this time, the investigation is ongoing, and no other comments will be made by the sheriff’s office on this case until the investigation is complete.
