Medical Helicopter Crashes in Evergreen-2 Hurt

EVERGREEN, AL. A medical helicopter crashed in Evergreen on Sunday afternoon at around 3:15 p.m.
A person on scene stated that the chopper hit a house on South Main Road in Evergreen before crashing onto the ground nearby.
Multiple emergency agencies responded to the scene within minutes
The Lifesaver 5 helicopter was on its way back from transporting a patient when it crashed. Evergreen Police Chief Allison Gessner said that there were no fatalities, but several people were injured.
The crash occurred near the hospital authorities said.
The crash site has been secured by law enforcement, and the Federal Aviation Administration has been notified.
