Man Rescued Off Roof By Local Fire Department

Firefighters, paid and volunteer, must always be ready to answer the call for help, and sometimes
that can include unusual calls not related to fighting fires or responding to medical emergencies.

Such was the case on Sunday, when the Elsanor Volunteer Fire Department received a dispatch to assist a man who was stuck on a roof.

The “Technical Rescue” call also sent the Robertsdale Fire Department to 22188 CR 62 South to assist in bringing the man down to the ground.

Firefighters were able to assist the man and there were no reports of any injuries.
