Man Injured After Falling 30 Feet From Fairhope Tree

A man working three stories up in a tree slipped Thursday afternoon and fell approximately thirty feet to the ground.
Emergency personnel rushed to the area of 17316 Confederate Rest Road in Fairhope at around 12:23 p.m. and found the man lying on the ground with numerous traumatic injuries.
Fairhope police, Fairhope fire, and an ambulance assisted the injured 54-year-old man, and a medical helicopter was called to transport the patient to a nearby trauma center.
The patient was transported to the nearby Grand Hotel’s employee parking lot to be loaded onto the helicopter.
Currently, the condition of the person is unknown.
