Man Dies in Mobile House Fire

A house fire in Mobile has turned deadly Saturday night according to the Mobile Fre-Rescue Department.

The fire was reported at around 7:25 p.m. on Wolf Ridge Road after 911 communications received several calls including one from a neighbor.

Firefighters, police, and EMS were dispatched to the home in North Mobile and firefighters entered the home and conducted a search for any victims and found one male.

He was immediately transported to an area hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.

No firefighters were reported to have been injured.

The Mobile Fire-Rescue Department reported that there were no working smoke alarms in the home.

The fire is currently under investigation.
