Mail Truck Crashes, Rolls Over, Minor Injuries Reported

Police said that they were called to a wreck Saturday afternoon at around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 49 and Peturis Rd.

Calls to 911 reported that a US Postal Service truck and crashed and rolled over.

The Silverhill police and fire departments, along with an ambulance responded to the scene.

A medical helicopter was also dispatched but was later canceled.

According to fire personnel, the driver only had minor injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
