Local Man Charged With Financial Exploitation of the Elderly
BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala.

An investigation into the financial exploitation of the elderly has landed a local man in jail.
Although the police had identified Aaron Betts, 30 of these crimes that occurred in November of last year, the police were not able to locate Betts until recently.
Authorities said Betts cut off contact with two victims who said he was hired to do work on their properties that he allegedly did not finish.
Betts was tracked down and arrested yesterday.
He was booked into the Baldwin County Corrections Center this morning and is being held on a $6,000.
