Juvenile Shot While Trying to Steal a Car

MOBILE, Ala. A juvenile was shot while attempting to steal a vehicle in a parking lot according to police.

The incident occurred on Thursday June 13, 2025, at around 2:15 a.m. at a gas station on Cottage Hill Road.

Mobile police and the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department responded to the 911 call and found a teenager suffering from a gunshot.

The juvenile was transported to an area hospital and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Mobile police have not released the shooter’s name and said that the incident is still under investigation.
