Juvenile Arrested With a Gun at Mobile School

MOBILE, Ala.

A juvenile is accused of bringing a handgun to a Mobile school on Wednesday, according to Mobile police.

Police officers were called to the Pathway School at 1365 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue around 1:16 p.m. after someone reported that a student was carrying a firearm.

MPD says officers found the juvenile with a handgun. The suspect was arrested and taken to the Strickland Youth Center.

Police stated that this is an open investigation.
