Jackknifed 18-wheeler snarls traffic on I-10

A traffic accident in Daphne Friday morning snarled traffic and caused a bit of a mess but thankfully, no injuries were reported although the fire department and an ambulance were originally dispatched to the scene.
This occurred on Interstate 10 near Daphne, when a passenger vehicle spun out causing an 18-wheeler to swerve to avoid hitting the car causing it to jackknife before landing in a ditch.
Daphne Police said that the wet roads were the likely culprit that caused the wreck.
