Illegal Immigrant Arrested For Sexually Assaulting Child

SUMMERDALE, Ala. The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office received information that a child had been sexually assaulted by a man who was in the United States illegally.
According to Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office officials, 45-year-old Mario Rosas-Jeranimo was arrested and charged with four counts of child sex-fondling and one count of sodomy.
Officials said two children reported to the Summerdale Police Department that they had been inappropriately touched earlier in the week.
Summerdale police notified BCSO for assistance, and an investigation into Rosas-Jeranimo found evidence of sexual misconduct.
Officials arrested Rosas-Jeranimo on October 2, 2025, and said he confessed to the crimes.
An $804,000 bond was set, and ICE was notified.
