I-10 Wreck Near Welcome Center Injures Several People

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. A major motor vehicle collision on Interstate 10 Sunday shut down the traffic in both directions and left one person with critical injuries.
According to authorities, the wreck occurred near the Alabama Welcome Center and involved at least two vehicles.
The Rosinton and Styx River Fire Departments, several ambulances and ALEA responded to the scene at around 3:25 p.m.
Due to the critical nature of one person’s injuries, an area medical helicopter responded to the crash scene.
ALEA continues to investigate this collision.
This wreck was one of more than a dozen traffic collisions in Baldwin County over the weekend where individuals were injured.
