Home Burglary Suspect Captured by Police Fleeing Scene

MOBILE Ala. On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at approximately 8:56 a.m., Mobile police officers responded to the 1600 block of Wormeley Drive after receiving a call about a burglary in progress.

Upon arrival, officers observed a male subject exiting the home and detained the man later identified as Donald Sylvester, 37.

Police were able to determine that Sylvester had burglarized the home and had rummaged through the house.

Sylvester was arrested and transported to Metro Jail.
