Greeno Road Fairhope Paving Project Begins Soon

More road work is coming to Fairhope within the next few days.

If you regularly drive down Greeno Road, then you already know that part of the road was repaved about a year ago.

Now, part two will kick off on another area of Greeno Road.

This state project will resurface about 6 miles of Greeno Road from Hwy 104 to CR 32.

The project that was bid out to contractors should end by the end of the year, according to ALDOT engineer Vince Bebe.

Bebe added he did not know yet it the work was to be done overnight to reduce traffic disruption or during regular daylight hours.

If you haven’t driven down North Section Street recently, be aware that additional work is being done there as well and you’ll be rerouted.
