Grand Bay Man Killed in Traffic Collision

Mobile, AL. ALEA is investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2025.

Troopers are reporting that the crash has claimed the life of a Grand Bay man.
Albert W. Hurd III, 72, was fatally injured when the 2012 GMC Sierra that he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.
Hurd was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Dedicated Road near Old Pascagoula Road, approximately eight miles south of Mobile, in Mobile County.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
