Four Vehicle Injury Wreck Shuts Down I-10 in Loxley

LOXLEY, Ala. At least four people were injured on Interstate 10 near Loxley Friday afternoon.
According to law enforcement, four vehicles were involved in a traffic collision on Interstate 10 near the 42 mile-marker Eastbound at around 3:20 p.m. on July 10th, 2026.
Authorities said that traffic quickly came to a halt as the interstate was briefly closed.
Loxley police and fire departments along with multiple ambulances were dispatched to the wreck.
A medical helicopter was initially dispatched but was not needed.
ALEA troopers were also dispatched to the scene.
According to police, four people were transported by ground ambulance transport with non-life-threatening injuries.
ALEA said that the crash is under investigation.
