Former Mobile Business Employee Charged With Theft

An arrest was made of a Mobile company’s employee after the employer accused him of theft.
Police responded to the Myer Fabrication at 744 Blackburn Drive on Jan. 23 for a property theft report and met with a company representative.
James McDonald, 46, of Mobile had been recently terminated from the business and had driven his pick-up truck to the location and had begun loading items that were not his into it.
The business owner told police that he wanted charges against the former employee for theft.
McDonald was charged with third-degree theft of property, first-degree theft of property, and third-degree retail theft of property.
