Former Bayou La Batre Police Officer Arrested For Bond Revocation

MOBILE COUNTY Ala. On June 9, 2025, The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office arrested BJ Squires, a former Bayou La Batre Police Officer, for probation revocation.
Squires was originally arrested in November 2024 following an investigation by The Mobile
County Sheriff’s Office and The District Attorney’s Office, which resulted in a grand jury indictment.
Squires was charged with 1st degree rape, 2nd degree rape, 1st degree sexual abuse and 2nd degree sexual abuse.
As per his bond order, Squires was required to not “depart from State”.
The DA’s Office received information that Squires attended a baseball game in Biloxi, Mississippi on June 5, violating the terms of his order. The DA quickly revoked his bond and signed a warrant for his arrest.
The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office received a tip of his whereabouts today and arrested him along with two others on Dauphin Island Parkway.
The two arrested with Squires are Frankie Goss (DOB 11/27/73) and Jeffrey Goss (DOB 05/29/73).
They are charged with Hindering Prosecution 1 degree.
