BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. A former employee of the Baldwin County School district is now a convicted criminal and soon to be registered sex offender.
The former school IT employee arrested in a Florida child sex sting has plead guilty to federal charges, according to newly filed court documents.
Under an agreement with prosecutors, they will move to dismiss the remaining count against him after sentencing is completed.
Christopher W. Glover plead guilty to attempted sex trafficking of a minor and travel in interstate commerce for illicit sexual conduct as part of a plea agreement filed in the Northern District of Florida.
Glover was originally arrested during a child sex sting operation in Florida
Authorities stated that the attempted sex trafficking charge carries a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and up to life imprisonment, along with the possibility of lifetime supervised release and fines. The remaining charge, travelling for illicit sexual conduct, carries a maximum of 30 years.
Court records show Glover admitted there is substantial evidence supporting the charges and waived his right to trial by pleading guilty.
Court records show that sentencing has been set for July 14, 2026.
