Foley Police Respond to Second School Incident

For the second time in less than a week, the Foley police department responded to a school in the city where threats or implied threats were been made.
This morning, police were on the campus of Foley Middle School located at 200 N Oak St, where a student is facing possible criminal charges after an incident.
Officials with the Foley police department shared some initial information on their Facebook page including that FPD officers responded to the middle school for a “potential threat” Tuesday morning.
One student was removed from campus following the incident and possible charges are pending, according to police.
According to police, the situation is under control with officers on school grounds.
Officials with the police department said the situation, which comes less than a week after a threat at Foley High School, but that everything was under control.
Police remained on campus during the school day.
