Foley Police Offers 8-Week Citizen’s Police Academy

FOLEY, Ala. Ever wondered what it’s really like to work in law enforcement? Have you thought about learning more about police work in your community?
Well, now might be a good time to step out and learn what happens at the Foley Police Department because they are offering a behind the scenes look at what they do with the Citizens Police Academy.
According to Foley Police, the department is offering a free, 8-week “backstage pass” to what goes on in law enforcement.
“Forget what you see on TV. This is your chance to learn about daily operations directly from the officers serving your community,” the Foley P.D. said.
Those interested can fill out an interest form. Registration closes Sept. 25.
