Driver Loses Control of Vehicle and Plows Into Fairhope Subway Shop

FAIRHOPE, Ala. An elderly driver lost control of their vehicle Monday afternoon and crashed into the Subway shop located at 80 Plantation Pointe Road.
Fairhope police, fire department and EMS were dispatched.
Several customers and employees were inside the store when this wreck occurred but thankfully, no one reported being injured.
It’s unknown how long the store may have to be closed because the building has to be inspected for any possible structural damage.
Fairhope police are investigating the cause of the wreck.
