FOLEY, Ala.
July 5, 2024
Foley police said that they received a call about suspicious persons and suspicious activity in the area of Airport Road Wednesday and when officers arrived in the area, they stopped a man later identified as Daniel Wilson.
Police conducted a pat down on Wilson and found several types of drugs including fentanyl.
Police say he had 127 grams (nearly 4.5 ounces) of spice, 38 grams (about 1.3 ounces) of meth and 1 gram (nearly 0.04 of an ounce) of fentanyl on him at the time.
They also allegedly found a gun in the car which police say he’s not allowed to have.
Wilson was arrested and transported to the county jail and will appear in court today.
At that time, a bond may or may not be granted.
Wilson faces several felonies at this time and if convicted could face more than ten years in the Alabama state prison.
