FOLEY, Ala. A Foley man arrested in a drug-trafficking conspiracy and for having firearms unlawfully has now been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
51-year-old Christopher Charles Rogers was sentenced on charges that he participated in a methamphetamine-trafficking conspiracy and possessing firearms in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime.
Court documents revealed that Rogers sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant at his trailer in Foley twice: once in January and again in February.
Law enforcement agents were investigating Robers and followed him on February 11, 2026 as he drove from Baldwin County to Pensacola to buy more methamphetamine, and that’s when narcotics agents and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office stopped Rogers on the Foley Beach Express.
During the stop, Rogers reportedly admitted he had served time previously in a federal prison for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. He was arrested on warrants for selling drugs to the informant.
Deputies then searched Rogers’ truck and reportedly found 139.18 grams of 99.4% pure methamphetamine in the center console.
When officers interviewed Rogers, he told them he had bought the drugs from a supplier in Pensacola and was planning on reselling the drugs, the release said. He said he had customers waiting for him when he was arrested.
Rogers told officers he had several guns at his trailer and gave them permission to search it. There, deputies found additional baggies of methamphetamine and several loaded pistols and rifles.
In total, officers seized 161.5 grams of methamphetamine from Rogers according to court documents.
Once Rogers serves his prison time, he will be required to serve five years of supervised release, at which time he will also be subject to drug testing and treatment.
He has been ordered to pay $200 in special assessments and forfeited his firearms to the United States.
