Foley Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Structure Fire

FOLEY, Ala. Firefighters in Foley rushed to a report of a house fire on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at around 10:30 a.m.

Firefighters were dispatched to single-family residential structure on Bitternut Rd.

When firefighters arrived, they found a kitchen fire and immediately began an interior attack and quickly extinguished the fire.

There was fire damage to the kitchen area and smoke damage throughout the house.

Chief Joey Darby said the fire was contained to the kitchen and there were no injuries.
