Firefighters Tackle Structure Fire in The Snowstorm

In the midst of a heavy snowstorm Tuesday afternoon, January 21, 2025, several fire departments were called out to a structure fire in Magnolia Springs.
Just after 1 p.m. the Baldwin County 911 center received calls about a house on fire at 15447 US 98.
When firefighters from the Magnolia Springs Volunteer Fire Department arrived, smoke and flames were showing in the rear of the structure.
Several mutual-aid fire departments, EMS and law enforcement were dispatched to the scene.
Two residents suffering from smoke inhalation were treated on-scene and then transported to an area hospital.
A family cat trapped inside the house was also rescued by firefighters and treated with oxygen and is doing fine.
The home suffered considerable amount of damage.
No other injuries were reported.
