Fire Substantially Damages Loxley House

A fire broke out at a house in Loxley on Thursday night at around 7:15 p.m.
A 911 caller reported seeing the fire at a home near Railroad Avenue and Black Devine Road and that flames were coming from the structure.
The Loxley fire and police departments were dispatched to the area and arriving firefighters reported seeing smoke and fire coming from the dwelling.
The Silverhill, Robertsdale, Stapleton and Belforest Fire Departments were also dispatched to assist Loxley as part of an automatic mutual-aid pact.
The fire was extinguished in a short amount of time and there was a substantial amount of fire damage done to the house.
There were no reports of any injuries at the scene.
