Fire Departments Battle Boathouse Fire For Six Hours
MAGNOLIA SPRINGS Ala.

An intense boathouse fire brought numerous fire departments to the fire.
Just after 10pm on Saturday night, the Magnolia Springs Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a reported Boat House on fire on Fish River.
Firefighters arrived at 13971 Isle Pines Drive to find heavy fire showing and called for additional
fire departments to assist them. Firefighters reported the boathouse and all of its contents were fully engulfed.
The fire was also threatening the main house according to firefighters on-scene.
The Barnwell and Fish River/Marlow Fire Departments responded to the call and engaged in protecting other structures in the area.
The Bon Secour Fire /Rescue Department also responded and brought their boat to battle the fire from the water.
Thanks to the quick action of firefighters no other structures were damaged but unfortunately, the boat house was a total loss.
Firefighters spent six hours at the fire scene battling the blaze,
There were no reports to what caused the fire and no reported injuries.
