Fatal Wreck Under Investigation in Mobile

MOBILE, AL. Police responded to a traffic collision on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at approximately 4:49 a.m.

The Mobile Fire-Rescue, MS and police officers responded to the intersection of Moffet Road and Howells Ferry Road, after receiving 911 calls about the wreck.

Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male victim suffering from severe life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The name of the deceased has not been released.

This remains an active investigation according to Mobile police.
