Fairhope Police Investigating Serious Crash

UPDATE: This crash resulted in one fatality.

FAIRHOPE Ala.

A serious crash that occurred on  Greeno Rd at State Highway 104 Sunday at around 9:40 a.m. is under investigation by the Fairhope Police Department.

The accident, involving three vehicles, injured several people including one person who was in serious condition at the scene.

A person who was there on-scene observed a small vehicle with heavy damage and two other vehicles sitting in the roadway.

The Fairhope Fire Department assisted several persons involved in the crash until ambulances arrived.

A  medical helicopter was also called to the scene.

The roadway was shut down for about an hour.

The condition of those involved is not known at this time.
