Fairhope Man Arrested For Possessing Stolen Firearm

BAY MINETTE, Ala. A traffic stop in Bay Minette has led to a felony arrest of a person who was found with a stolen firearm.
On May 12, 2025, an officer with the Bay Minette Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation near McMeans Ave and West 5th Street. During that stop, officers identified a passenger, Ashton Harold Enrico Bradley of Fairhope, Alabama, who was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant.
While interacting with Bradley, officers developed probable cause to search the vehicle. During the search, a loaded Judge revolver firearm was discovered in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. Further investigation revealed that the firearm had been reported stolen in November 2024 from a vehicle and residence in the Fairhope community.
Bradley was arrested for the outstanding warrant and charged with Receiving Stolen Property in the Second Degree. He was transported to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office Correction Center and has since been released on bond.
