Fairhope Fire Department Responds to Possible Attic Fire

FAIRHOPE Ala.

The Fairhope Fire Department was called to a possible attic fire shortly after 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon, at 252 N Bay View St.

A residential fire alarm triggered the first to the fire department followed by a phone call to 911 from the homeowner reporting smoke and a possible fire inside the attic area of the house.

The fire call also sent numerous other mutual-aid fire departments to the scene.

The Fairhope police department provided traffic control and other resources were on stand-by.

There were no reported injuries and the fire department didn’t report any structural damage.
