Fairhope Fire Chief Involved in Wreck

An accident early Tuesday morning in Fairhope involved Chris Ellis, the Fairhope Fire Chief
and the driver of a second vehicle.
The crash occurred at Morphy Avenue and South Ingleside Street at around 8:35 a.m.
Fairhope police and the Fairhope Fire Department responded to the scene.
An ambulance was also dispatched to the accident.
It is not believed that the chief was responding to an emergency call at the time of the accident.
No serious injuries were reported.
