Employee of Ashland Place Health and Rehabilitation Charged With Physical Abuse of Patient

MOBILE, AL. On Thursday, October 29, 2026, officers responded to Ashland Place Health and Rehabilitation, located at 148 Tuscaloosa Street, following a report of alleged abuse.
When police officers arrived and began their investigation, it was revealed that a female employee allegedly physically abused a male victim.
On Monday, November 2, 2026, Terrah Bartholomew, 44, was arrested and transported to Metro Jail and charged with Felony Abuse of a Protected Person.
Due to the sensitive nature of this incident, no further information will be released.
As of today, she was being held without bond.
