Daphne Fire Performs 8 Human-3 Animal Rescues

The Daphne Fire Department reported that between Sunday afternoon and early Monday morning, firefighters were dispatched to numerous water rescue calls.
One of the largest areas hit by flooding in the city was along the D’Olive Creek and parts of the Lake Forest community where several houses were flooded with upwards of four feet of water.

2519 Main Street
Daphne fire and police were kept busy with responding to flooding calls, including roadways that were covered with water.
The Daphne firefighters reported rescuing eight people and three animals during the storm event.
