Crossroads Community House Fire Damages Home

Just before 9 a.m. Thursday morning a member of the Crossroads Fire Department spotted a home that was on fire and notified the Baldwin County Fire Communications Center via his 2-way radio.

Several fire departments including the Spanish Fort F.D. responded to 36593 State Highway 225.
The house was next door of the fire station.

When firefighters arrived, flames and smoke were showing from the structure.

EMS and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office were also dispatched to the scene.

One person was overcome by smoke and transported to an area hospital.

At this time the cause of the fire has not been reported.

There were no other injuries reported.
