Conecuh County Crash Claims Life of Driver

CONECUH COUNTY, Ala. ALEA troopers responded to a two-vehicle traffic collision on Alabama 83 near the 15 mile-marker, approximately 10 miles north of the Evergreen city limits, in Conecuh County.
Multiple emergency responders were called to the wreck which occurred at approximately 2:55 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2026, and it has claimed the life of an Evergreen man.
Bobby M. McNeil, 65, was critically injured when the 1999 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving collided head-on with the 2020 Ram 3500 pickup driven by Clarence D. Dunn Jr., 56, of Evergreen.
McNeil was transported to Evergreen Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
