Child Sexual Predator Arrested by Mobile County Sheriff’s Office

MOBILE, AL. In August of 2025, an investigation began on ROBERT HESTER from a cyber tip generated by KIK, an online text platform.
Upon investigation, the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office ICAC Unit executed a search warrant on his account and located over 200 images and videos of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
At the time of the investigation, HESTER was an inmate at Baldwin County Correctional Facility for similar charges.
On October 10, 2025, MCSO signed (10) ten felony warrants on HESTER.
On November 11, 2025, HESTER was released from Baldwin County and transferred to Mobile Metro Jail to face his new charges.
The ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) is a national network of 61 coordinated task forces, comprising over 5,400 federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. These agencies are dedicated to investigating, prosecuting, and developing effective responses to internet crimes against children. The main initiative of the ICAC Task Force Program is also to educate the public through the development and delivery of public awareness and prevention programs.
