Chickasaw Man Dies in Baldwin County Wreck

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has reported that a Chickasaw man died in a single-vehicle wreck on Interstate 65 on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025.
Police, fire personnel and EMS were dispatched to the area of the 35 mile-marker on Interstate 65 after someone called 911.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Thomas Oliver Swindle Jr., 65, was killed when the 2018 Jeep Cherokee he was a passenger in left the roadway, struck a tree, and overturned. Swindle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Jeep was injured and transported to University Hospital in Mobile for medical treatment, ALEA said.
Troopers with the ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
