BALDWIN COUNTY Ala.
Firefighters from at least four fire departments and the Alabama Forestry Department were needed to get a woods fire under control Monday afternoon.
Around 3:30 p.m. April 29th, 2025, firefighters from Rosinton, Styx River,
Gateswood and Loxley were dispatched out to a fire in the woods at Wallace Road and Brady Roads, an area where other brush fires have been reported recently.
The fire which was quite a distance from the road proved difficult and needed four-wheel vehicles to get to the off-road area that was burning.
The forestry unit was called in to cut a line to prevent the fire from moving any further.
There were no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
