Baldwin County Firefighters Respond to a Dozen Weekend Fires

BALDWIN COUNTY Ala.
A dozen fires burned throughout Baldwin County over the weekend with the majority being grass and wood fires.
Firefighters also respond to a mobile home fire, a structure fire, and a trailer fire during this time.
Rosinton, Styx River, Daphne, Fairhope, Whitehouse Forks, Crossroads, Loxley, Foley, Magnolia Springs, Bon Secour, all reported responding to brush/grass fires during this time.
Several fire departments were called to a location more than once after fires rekindled.
In two of those fires, the Alabama Forestry Commission was called in to assist with setting fire stops which is digging trenches to stop the fire from moving any further.
Bon Secour and Magnolia Springs Fire Departments also a mobile home fire, Foley Fire Department responded to a trailer fire and several fire departments responded to vehicle fires.
