Autistic Teen Dies After Being Shot With His Mother

A seventeen-year-old autistic teen passed away after being shot on March 7th, 2025.
Police originally reported that the teen, Bradley Lewis, and his mother Benita Clausell, a retired educator, were both shot on Cecelia Street.
Police investigators said that 21-year-old Dashon Mosley opened fire at a driver a few blocks away before shooting Benita and Bradley.
Authorities said Mosley’s charges were upgraded April 1.
According to jail records, Mosley is charged with two counts of assault, two counts of discharging a gun, robbery, attempted murder, and murder.
