Armed Man Arrested After Disturbance at Mobile School

MOBILE, Ala. Mobile Police responded to a disturbance at a school campus and found a man with a gun.
According to police officers, they responded to the Trinity Lutheran Church around 8 a.m. Thursday for a report of a person refusing to leave the property.
Officials said while on the way to the church, officers saw the man, now identified as 28-year-old Kendrick Demario Lashauwn Harris, and detained him.
While doing a pat down on Harris, they found the gun on him, according to police.
Officers spoke to the person who called the police and found that Harris had been seen on the Trinity Lutheran School campus and had been asked to leave, which is when he allegedly became confrontational.
Harris was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal trespass, making terrorist threats, and certain persons forbidden-pistol and booked into the Mobile Metro Jail.
