The annual Horse Show that is held in Grand Bay has scheduled the event for April 11 & 12, 2025.
However, due to safety concerns, there will be NO PARKING ON THE STREETS this year.
Anyone who parks on the streets or blocks any thoroughfare will be TOWED.
If pedestrians block the streets and refuse to move, they will be arrested.
At issue is that during the last couple of years, it has been difficult for those bringing their horses and horse trailers to the event to get to their destination because of people and vehicles blocking the streets”, said Sheriff Paul Burch.
“This year we want to get the message out early so that people know there will be no parking on the streets and if they do, their vehicle will be towed.
Blocking the streets also prevents emergency vehicles from passing through and it becomes a public safety issue.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding of this matter so that everyone wanting to participate may do so in a safe environment.”
The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office is working with The Grand Bay Hill Horse Posse during this event.
