ALEA Investigates Fatal Wreck on Alabama 21

ESCAMBIA COUNTY AL. A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12:58 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, has claimed the life of a Perdido woman.
Victoria L. Lambeth, 36, was fatally injured when the 2012 Ford Explorer she was driving collided head-on with the 2025 Freightliner box-truck driven by James M. Bryant, 43, of Blountstown, Fla.
After the collision, the Ford caught fire.
Bryant was injured and transported to USA Medical Center in Mobile for treatment.
Lambeth’s body was transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science (ADFS), where her identity was later confirmed.
The crash occurred on Alabama 21 near the 13-mile marker, approximately nine miles north of Atmore, in Escambia County.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
