BALDWIN COUNTY Ala.
August 19, 2024
Several calls came into the Baldwin County 911 communications center Saturday afternoon reporting that an airplane had crashed around 24837 Truck Route 17.
Local fire departments, law enforcement and EMS rushed that way while more information was being gathered to confirm the crash reports.
At one point, it was reported that the pilot had also called 911 to report that he had issues and brought the plane down.
Authorities determined that it wasn’t an actual plane crash and that there were no injuries.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the Baldwin County Emergency Management Agency were also notified.
