2 Serious Car Crashes in Fairhope Reported

Two serious motor vehicles in Fairhope in a matter of just two days injured several people and shut down parts of several city streets.
The first accident reported occurred on Friday afternoon and involved five vehicles which resulted in minor injuries.
Samuel David Rollins, 50 years old of Semmes, was charged with Driving Under the Influence.
The accident occurred at U.S. Highway 98 and South Drive.
A second serious accident happened Saturday night in the area of the new WaWa store and the high school.
At least one vehicle was involved and apparently had struck a tree.
It was reported that at least one person was also injured in that wreck.
Fairhope police are currently investigating that crash.
