Accident Closes Down Interstate 10 Saturday

A single-vehicle collision on Interstate 10 ended with the vehicle landing in the woodline near mile-marker 61 on Saturday night, just after 10 p.m.
Several 911 callers reported that at least one person was trapped in the vehicle.
On-scene police reported there were two people in the vehicle and that a male received serious injuries in the crash.
The Rosinton Volunteer Fire Department along with EMS and troopers responded to the area and assisted with patient care, directing traffic and
ALEA conducted an accident investigation.
A medical helicopter was also called in and landed in the middle of Interstate 10, shutting down traffic for about twenty minutes.
ALEA said that the accident is under investigation.
